(Plan of Redemption)
Article 54. The Organization shall obtain approval from the Minister of Transport upon establishing a plan for redemption of long-term loans and bonds each fiscal year.
(Government Loans)
Article 55. The Government may lend funds to provide for the expenses necessary to conduct such business as listed in subparagraphs 1 and 4 of Article 44 paragraph 1 (business performed by Organization) to the Organization, within the constraints of the budget.
(Application of Surplus)
Article 56. The Organization shall not apply any surplus from its business except in the following cases:
(1)Acquisition of national bonds and other securities designated by the Minister of Transport;
(2)Bank deposit or postal savings deposit;
(3)Money in trust to any bank engaging in trust business, or to a trust company.
(Standards for Payment of Salary and Retirement Allowances)
Article 57. The Organization shall, when deciding on the standards for payment of salary and retirement allowances to officers and staff members, obtain prior approval from the Minister of Transport. In a case in which it intends to alter such standards the same shall apply.
(Delegation to Ordinances of Ministry of Transport)
Article 58. Any matters relating to finance and accounting of the Organization shall be provided for by Ordinances of the Ministry of Transport unless otherwise provided for by this Law.
SUBSECTION 6. SUPERVISION
(Supervision and Order)
Article 59. The Minister of Transport may, when deemed necessary for the enforcement of this Law, enact any order deemed to be necessary for the supervision of the business of the Organization.
